About Joe Osborne
Joe Osborne has been practicing law for over three decades, and his career is marked by a fierce commitment to representing people harmed by the largest corporations and government agencies. Joe’s legal journey began with humble roots, starting in a small office where he built his practice from scratch. His dedication to representing individuals in unique, personal situations has earned him a national reputation in complex mass torts, medical malpractice, and defective product cases.
As the managing partner of Osborne, Francis & Pettis, Joe has helped shape the firm into becoming one of Florida’s fastest-growing law firms. Joe is widely recognized as a national leader in mass torts, securing landmark results throughout his career, including a $26.7 million verdict for clients injured by Boston Scientific’s Pinnacle mesh kit and a multi-million-dollar verdict against Zimmer for a failed hip implant.
Early in his career, he saw how a major settlement allowed a severely injured client to secure a custom-built home tailored to their needs. This moment inspired him to continue the challenging work of advocacy. Outside the courtroom, Joe is a devoted father and an active supporter of local youth sports, funding travel and uniforms for young athletes in the community.
His work has been recognized by Super Lawyers, the Daily Business Review, and the National Trial Lawyers Top 100.
