SEMINOLE COUNTY, FL – A pedestrian accident in Seminole County Thursday morning claimed the life of a 29-year-old woman, WKMG reported.
According to the Florida Highway Patrol, the victim was lying in the roadway on Lake Mills Road at about 1:20 a.m. when she was struck by an eastbound SUV driven by a 19-year-old man.
The woman, a Chuluota resident, was pronounced dead at the scene. Her name was not released.
State troopers said the woman was in the road next to a bicycle at the time she was hit, but she had not been struck previously by another vehicle.
The FHP is continuing its investigation into the incident.
