OCOEE, FL – Police in Ocoee were called to the scene of a single-vehicle crash that claimed the life of one person early Monday.
According to the Orange County Observer, the crash occurred at about 3:51 p.m. along Silver Star Road near Ocoee Landing Boulevard.
Officers found a single vehicle that had caught fire after crashing into a tree. The driver was extricated and transported to a nearby hospital, where they were pronounced dead.
The identity of the victim is being withheld pending further investigation.
