Hit-and-run crash in Osceola County leaves pedestrian critically injured

OSCEOLA COUNTY, FL – Authorities are searching for a driver who left the scene after hitting a pedestrian in Osceola County Friday morning, WKMG reports.

The Florida Highway Patrol said the victim was a 39-year-old woman who was hit by a northbound vehicle on Vineland Road near Kyngs Heath Road sometime before sunrise. She was transported to an area hospital with injuries that were reported to be life-threatening.

State troopers say the vehicle they are looking for may have been a white Honda sedan.  Anyone with information regarding the incident was asked to contact the Florida Highway Patrol or Crimeline.
