KISSIMMEE, FL – The Florida Highway Patrol is investigating a crash near Kissimmee Saturday morning that killed a motorcycle rider.
According to the Orlando Sentinel, state troopers were at the scene in the area of Michigan Avenue and Mill Run Boulevard at about 10:20 a.m. The FHP said a 38-year-old man was driving a van south on Michigan Avenue when he tried to turn on Mill Run Boulevard and entered the path of the motorcycle.
The motorcycle struck the right side of the van. The motorcyclist, a 37-year-old man from Kissimmee, was pronounced dead at the scene. No other injuries were reported.
