GROVELAND, FL – A young girl died following an accident in a driveway in Lake County on Sunday afternoon, the Orlando Sentinel reports.

The incident happened at a home on 918 County Road 48 in Groveland at about 4:30 p.m. The Florida Highway Patrol said a 70-year-old Groveland woman was behind the wheel of a van parked in the driveway of a family member’s home.

After dropping off everyone in the van, the FHP said the woman drove forward without realizing her 7-year-old granddaughter was standing in front of the van.
