Driver, 3 students sent to hospital after crash involving Seminole County school bus

GENEVA, FL – The Florida Highway Patrol said four people were hospitalized following a multi-vehicle accident involving a Seminole County Public Schools bus Tuesday afternoon.

According to WKMG, the bus was hit by a bucket truck in the area of County Road 426 and FL-46 in Geneva.  The impact caused the right back side of the bus to collide with the front of a pickup truck.

The driver of the school bus and two 16-year-old girls who were on board were transported to an area hospital.  Another student on board the bus was taken to the hospital by his family. None of the injuries were reported to be life-threatening.

The bus was traveling from Hagerty High School, school officials said.  FL-46 was closed to traffic in the area of the accident.
