70-year-old driver killed after running red light, crashing in Osceola Co.

ST. CLOUD., FL – A woman was killed when she ran a red light and slammed into a tractor-trailer in St. Cloud yesterday.

According to the Orlando Sentinel, the woman was heading north on Arthur J. Gallagher Boulevard when she ran a red light and turned into the path of a semi-truck heading east on US-192. The tractor-trailer then slammed into the driver’s side of the woman’s sedan.

The 70-year-old woman suffered fatal injuries in the crash. Her three passengers were flown to a local hospital with injuries beloved to be non-life-threatening.

It is unclear if the truck driver was injured in the crash.
