4 hospitalized after crash sends tow truck into Belle Isle restaurant

ORLANDO, FL – Four people were sent to the hospital after a two-vehicle crash sent a tow truck careening into a restaurant in the Belle Isle area today.

According to Fox 35 Orlando, the 51-year-old driver of a Hyundai ran a red light at South Orange Avenue and Oak Ridge Road and slammed into a tow truck. The impact sent the tow truck into a nearby restaurant.

Three victims inside the restaurant and the two truck’s driver were sent to the hospital with injuries believed to be non-life-threatening.

Charges are pending against the driver of the Hyundai. Should more information come to light, this blog will be updated.
