13-year-old pedestrian critically injured in crash near Holden Heights

ORLANDO, FL – A 13-year-old boy was rushed to the hospital after he was hit by a vehicle while crossing the road in Holden Heights on Tuesday morning.

According to WKMG, the victim was walking in the area of Rio Grande Avenue and 29th Street when he stepped into the direct path of an oncoming SUV.

The boy was rushed to Arnold Palmer Hospital as a trauma alert. The driver, a 22-year-old man, was not injured.
